Questions shippers ask
How do I get a price?
Tell us what you’re shipping, roughly how much it weighs or how big it is, where it’s going and how soon it needs to arrive. Send it by WhatsApp, phone, email or the quote form. The quote is free.
Should I ship by air or by sea?
Air is faster and suits urgent, perishable or high-value goods. Sea costs less for heavy or bulky cargo that can wait. Tell us your deadline and we’ll recommend one.
What does LCL mean?
LCL stands for “less than container load”. Your goods share a sea container with other shippers’ cargo, and you pay for the space you use. If you have enough to fill a container on your own, that’s FCL, a full container load. See the difference.
Can I bring my goods to you?
Yes. Drop them at our warehouse in Eastleigh, Nairobi (call us first for directions), or ask us to collect them from you.
Do you deliver to the door?
Yes. With door-to-door service we collect from the sender and deliver to the recipient.
Can you ship somewhere not on your list?
Yes. We export from Kenya to any destination. Tell us where and we’ll find the best route and rate.
Does the quote include customs clearance, duty and VAT?
Ask us when you request your quote, and we’ll tell you exactly what it includes. Duty and VAT depend on the type and value of your goods.
What documents do I need?
Most shipments travel with a commercial invoice and a packing list. Some goods also need permits or certificates. Tell us what you’re shipping and we’ll tell you what to prepare.
Is there anything you can’t ship?
Some goods are restricted or need special permits. Describe your cargo when you ask for a quote and we’ll confirm before anything moves.
