About this route
Dubai is one of the busiest trading hubs in the Middle East, and much of what arrives there moves on across the Gulf. Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital, is a short drive down the coast. On the Kenyan side, cargo leaves from Nairobi, our home base, or from Mombasa, Kenya’s main seaport.
Good to know on this route
- Fresh flowers and produce usually fly, so they arrive fresh.
- Heavy machinery and bulk loads are usually cheaper by sea from Mombasa.
- Express suits small, urgent parcels bound for Dubai.

Questions shippers ask
How do I get a price?

Does the quote include customs clearance, duty and VAT?
Ask us when you request your quote, and we’ll tell you exactly what it includes. Duty and VAT depend on the type and value of your goods.
What documents do I need?
Most shipments travel with a commercial invoice and a packing list. Some goods also need permits or certificates. Tell us what you’re shipping and we’ll tell you what to prepare.
